आजकल students और freshers के लिए online internships एक अच्छा opportunity बन चुकी हैं। घर से काम करते हुए experience हासिल करना, नए skills सीखना और resume को मजबूत करना आसान हो गया है। लेकिन इसी के साथ online internship scams भी तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं।

कई fake recruiters students को attractive internship offers देते हैं और बाद में registration fee, security deposit, training charges या certificate fee के नाम पर पैसे मांगते हैं। कुछ scams में personal information या banking details भी मांगी जा सकती हैं।

इसलिए किसी भी online internship को accept करने से पहले उसकी authenticity check करना बहुत जरूरी है। आइए जानते हैं कि fake internship offer को कैसे पहचानें और खुद को scam से कैसे बचाएं।

1. Internship के लिए पहले पैसे मांगे जाएं तो सावधान रहें

Fake internship scams का सबसे common तरीका है candidate से पहले payment मांगना। Recruiter registration fee, interview fee, security deposit, training charges या job confirmation के नाम पर पैसे मांग सकता है।

अगर internship offer मिलने से पहले आपको payment करने के लिए कहा जा रहा है, तो इसे carefully verify करें। केवल payment की demand देखकर scam conclude नहीं किया जा सकता, लेकिन यह एक important warning sign जरूर है।

2. Company और Recruiter की Details Verify करें

किसी भी internship को accept करने से पहले company का official website, email address, LinkedIn presence और contact details check करें।

अगर recruiter Gmail, Yahoo या किसी random email address से company recruitment कर रहा है, तो extra verification करें। Established companies अक्सर recruitment communication के लिए official company email domain का इस्तेमाल करती हैं।

3. बहुत ज्यादा Salary का लालच Red Flag हो सकता है

अगर कोई simple internship के बदले unusually high salary offer कर रहा है और साथ में immediate joining का pressure बना रहा है, तो सावधान रहें।

Scam offers में अक्सर phrases जैसे "Guaranteed Income", "No Interview Required" या "Earn Huge Money From Home" का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।

4. Job Description ध्यान से पढ़ें

Genuine internship listing में role, responsibilities, required skills, duration और selection process की information generally clear होती है।

अगर job description बहुत vague है और सिर्फ earning potential पर focus किया गया है, तो offer को verify किए बिना personal details share न करें।

5. Interview Process को Ignore न करें

कुछ fake internship offers में बिना proper interview के candidate को select कर लिया जाता है। इसके बाद उनसे documents या payment मांगी जाती है।

हर company का hiring process अलग हो सकता है, इसलिए interview न होना अपने आप में scam का proof नहीं है। लेकिन अगर selection बहुत जल्दी हो और recruiter लगातार payment या sensitive information के लिए pressure बनाए, तो additional verification जरूरी है।

6. Personal और Banking Information Share करने से बचें

Internship application के दौरान basic information मांगी जा सकती है, लेकिन sensitive financial information share करते समय बहुत सावधानी रखें।

आजकल internships के नाम पर WhatsApp और Telegram पर भी offers circulate होते हैं। केवल किसी WhatsApp message या Telegram profile को देखकर recruiter की identity confirm नहीं होती।

अगर आपको ऐसा offer मिलता है, तो company की official website से contact details निकालकर independently verification करें। Recruiter द्वारा भेजे गए suspicious links पर तुरंत click न करें।

8. Offer Letter को Carefully Check करें

Offer letter में company name, role, internship duration, stipend, responsibilities और contact information जैसी details check करें।

Spelling mistakes, inconsistent company information, suspicious email addresses या unusual payment instructions दिखाई दें तो पहले verification करें।

9. Internet पर Company की Reputation Check करें

Company का नाम search करके देखें कि उसकी official website और professional presence मौजूद है या नहीं। Internship platform पर reviews या previous candidates की experiences भी देखे जा सकते हैं।

हालांकि online reviews को blindly trust नहीं करना चाहिए। अलग-अलग sources से information cross-check करना ज्यादा useful होता है।

10. जल्दी Decision लेने का Pressure Avoid करें

"आज ही payment करें", "कुछ घंटों में offer expire हो जाएगा" या "अभी documents भेजें" जैसे pressure tactics से सावधान रहें।
